A special edition Detective Pikachu amiibo figure is launching alongside the Detective Pikachu game on March 23. This extra-large amiibo can unlock cutscenes if tapped in the Detective Pikachu game, revealing a combination of humorous content that might also provide a hint. This same content can be accessed in the game without the amiibo, but tapping it will allow players to unlock content more quickly. Pre-orders for the new Detective Pikachu Fan Pack and Detective Pikachu amiibo are now being accepted at the official Nintendo UK Store for £34.99 and £19.99, respectively. The Fan Pack bundle includes Detective Pikachu for Nintendo 3DS family systems, a Detective Pikachu keyring and Detective Pikachu stickers.
