To celebrate the upcoming release of the Detective Pikachu game for Nintendo 3DS, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have dispatched official mascot versions of Detective Pikachu throughout Japan. As you can see in the image above, the Detective Pikachu mascot sports a detective poncho, a detective hat and even a stern face that appears to be ready to solve any mystery. Detective Pikachu is scheduled to launch on March 23 for the 3DS family of systems. Check out the embedded video below for the official public debut of the Detective Pikachu mascot:
