Nintendo Switch eShop now shows how many points you’ll earn from buying a game, plus you can buy games and DLC with My Nintendo points

Nintendo recently explained how Gold Points in My Nintendo are awarded based on five percent of the amount you pay. You can now use the Gold Points you’ve earned when purchasing downloadable software and DLC for the Nintendo Switch system, such as the Pokkén Tournament DX Battle Pack. Building on this new functionality, the console’s Nintendo eShop now shows how many points you’ll earn from buying a game. It was also updated to allow you to purchase games and DLC with your My Nintendo points.
