There’s a subtle reference to Super Smash Bros. in the recently-released Nintendo Switch version of Bayonetta 2. It consists of a brief message from the character Rodin addressed to Bayonetta, who is the last playable fighter added to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. It reads the following: Bayonetta, something came in from that fight club of yours. Strange to think of you up there, mixing it up with all them all-stars. Bring me along next time, huh? I could use some sparrin’ practice.
