The second Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza is still underway across the globe, but it is scheduled to end tomorrow, April 2, at 20:00 UTC. This special in-game event allows players find special 2 km Eggs at PokéStops. During the event, these 2 km Eggs will hatch into Pokémon such as Wynaut or Ralts that normally hatch from 5 km or 10 km Eggs. There is also an increased hatch rate for certain Pokémon like Togepi and Pichu. In addition, Shiny Magby has been added to the immensely-popular mobile game as part of the latest Eggstravaganza. Shiny Wynautis also now hatching from Eggs. Shiny Togepi is also appearing as well.
Each Egg that is hatched during the event also includes bonus Candy, making it easier to power up or evolve your Pokémon. Trainers can also earn double Stardust during the Eggstravaganza. To help get these Eggs hatched as soon as possible, the in-game shop now has special boxesavailable that include Super Incubators, Star Pieces and Lucky Eggs. The Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza event runs until April 2 at 9 p.m. (UTC). Pokémon GO developer Niantic wants to know which Pokémon you’re powering up with the double Stardust and bonus Candy from the Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza event, so be sure to let them know via social media.
