All 151 original Pokémon have been seen in Pokémon GO, special Kanto event kicks off tomorrow, April 10

With the appearance of the Mythical Pokémon Mew, all 151 Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region have been seen in Pokémon GO. To commemorate this milestone, developer Niantic has revealed that a special event focused on the original Kanto region will kick off for the immensely-popular mobile game tomorrow, April 10. The official announcement is as follows:

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EVENT STARTING SOON!

Trainers, starting April 10, we’ll be hosting a special celebration in honor of the Kanto region in Pokémon GO! Keep your eyes on the official Pokémon GO website and social media channels for more information surrounding this event.
