A slew of new Shiny Pokémon are on the way to Pokémon GO. They are the Shiny versions of numerous Pokémon that were originally discovered in the Kanto and Johto regions. The majority of players assumed that the new Shinies would be added with the latest in-game event, but that’s not the case – at least not yet. The Kanto-themed celebration is currently underway and runs until April 17, so there’s still some time for Niantic to start dispatching the rare Pokémon variants.
