It could be a while before we get any substantial news on the first core console Pokémon RPG and Generation 8 Pokémon, but that hasn’t stopped fans from sharing rumors of all sorts. One such rumor is suggesting that Pokémon Switch will be a reboot of the Pokémon franchise. According to a published Nintendo magazine in Spain, Pokémon Switch will indeed consist of the eighth generation and will launch in 2018 or later. More recently, Twitter user Pixelpar says the highly-anticipated game should be ready to launch in November or December of this year:
For anyone wondering, Pokémon Switch materials have been undergoing localization since late Feb (possibly earlier). I’ve already had confirmation that it’s targeting a 2018 release. Educated guess (based on previous Pokémon localization timing) it should be ready for Nov/Dec
