Pokémon GO developer Niantic teamed up with Playmob and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to host special cleanup events around the world on Earth Day yesterday, April 22. In-game rewards are now available for all players because more than 4,000 players participated by picking up trash on Earth Day. Rewards include 3× Stardust when catching Ground, Water and Grass-type Pokémon. This particular reward will last through April 30, 2018.
There’s also a special Earth Day T-shirt now available in the game for all Pokémon GO Trainers to wear.
