Shocking New Research in Pokémon GO. Updated Field Research tasks and a chance to catch an elusive Legendary Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO.

By now, you’ve probably completed plenty of tasks for the newly implemented Field Research feature in Pokémon GO—but by no means should you rest on your laurels! Starting May 1, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. PDT, a brand-new set of Field Research challenges will become available in the game. Professor Willow’s latest tasks focus on Flying- and Electric-type Pokémon, and will include skill-based challenges that will test your abilities as a Trainer. Earn enough stamps for your Research Breakthrough, and you will trigger an encounter with the Legendary Pokémon Zapdos. Can you catch this mighty Pokémon and add it to your team?
