The Special Battle rules for Rating Battle Season 10 have been revealed. Season 10 will run from May 15 to July 10, 2018, and runs on the original Pokémon Sun & Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, with rankings separate to each other. This ruleset is rather standard but runs Inverse Battles, meaning that the type chart is inverted, so Normal-types are super effective against Ghost-types and so forth.
Battle type: Double Battle – Inverse Battles
Pokémon Restrictions: National Pokédex. No Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, and Marshadow.
The other standard rules apply, including all set to Level 50 if above that, and you choose 4 Pokémon out of your 6, and you cannot have two Pokémon holding the same hold item. Battles have a 10 minute duration, with turns having a 60 second timer.
