The Pokémon Company has teamed up with SCRAP to create an actual Real Escape Game in Japan featuring the Pokémon franchise. It is called Escape from Amusement Park of Wind, themed after Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story, in that players assume the role of attendees at the Wind Festival, which is an event that is held for the purpose of drawing in the Legendary Lugia. But there’s a twist; Team Rocket has invaded the event and messed things up, so it’s up to players to rectify this by solving mysterious and ultimately escape. This escape room will be featured at Tokyo Dome City from July 14 to September 24 and at Hirakata Park from July 18 to September 17, 2018, in Osaka, Japan.
