Pokémon GO Adventure Week 2018 now underway featuring more Rock-type Pokémon, Buddy Candy, extra XP at PokéStops and Gyms, unique Field Research tasks and more until June 5

Pokémon GO has officially kicked off two weeks of adventure as part of this year’s Adventure Week, which lasts through June 5. This event features a heavy emphasis on Rock-type Pokémon, so fans can expect to come across many Pokémon like Geodude, Omanyte, Kabuto, Nosepass, Aron, Lileep and Anorith. In addition to all the special Pokémon that are making appearances during this two-week event, other bonuses are now active as well. Buddy Pokémon now find Candy four times as fast while you’re out walking, and spinning the Photo Disc at a PokéStop or Gym now earns you extra XP – twice the XP for spinning a Photo Disc that you’ve already visited and a whopping 10 times the XP for spinning a new Photo Disc. Players have also been given unique Field Research tasks during these two weeks.
