Pokémon developer Game Freak has put up another job listing for a UI Designer to “create UI in accordance with design specs.” Many are speculating that this position has to do with the studio’s first console Pokémon role-playing game, which is in development for Nintendo Switch. Notable bits from the listing include the following points:
• UI animation design in deformed/manga/caricature style
• Create UI in accordance with design specs
• Incorporate data into the game
• Some involvement with overseas language data
