Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee and Poké Ball Plus codenames, online support, Combat Power system from Pokémon GO and more

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are among the games that were recently announced as part of the Pokémon 2018 Video Game Press Conference. The games will use Combat Power in battles akin to how the system works in Pokémon GO. They will include online in terms of battling and trading with other players, but ranked battles won’t be supported. In addition, there are currently no plans to implement support for the Nintendo Switch Online service. Players won’t be able to evolve their Starter Pokémon throughout their adventure. The games were actually code-named Project Beluga, while Poké Ball Plus was referred to as Project Palma. Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are scheduled to launch on November 16 for Nintendo Switch.
