Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee include online battles, trading, require Nintendo Switch Online, but exclude GTS, Battle Spot and Wonder Trade

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are among the games that were recently announced as part of the Pokémon 2018 Video Game Press Conference. They will include online features in terms of battling and trading with other players, but ranked battles won’t be supported. In addition, they will require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. However, in an attempt to simplify the online component, the upcoming games will lack other popular features such as the Global Trade System (GTS), Battle Spot and Wonder Trade. Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are scheduled to launch on November 16 for Nintendo Switch.
