Official Pokémon mascot Pikachu artwork for the Osaka Kansai Japan Expo 2025

Last year, Pikachu and Hello Kitty were appointed by Japanese foreign minister Tarō Kōno. The two prominent entertainment icons are officially serving as ambassadors to promote the city of Osaka, Japan, for the Osaka Kansai Japan Expo 2025. The host of the Expo 2025 is scheduled to be announced in November 2018. Meanwhile, The Pokémon Company has shared official artwork for the Pikachu mascot, which you can check out in the image above.
