The Pokémon Company recently confirmed that the use of motion controls to catch Pokémon in Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee is required, regardless of whether your Nintendo Switch system is docked or in handheld mode, and they’re compulsory throughout the game. The company has also confirmed that the Johto region will not be a bonus feature in the game (as it was back in Pokémon Gold and Silver). Instead, it will focus entirely on the Kanto region.
