As part of its extensive Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018, Niantic’s sixth Pokémon GO Community Day recently took place in various territories across the globe. It featured increased spawns of Larvitar, triple catch XP, three-hour Lures and the exclusive move Smack Down for Tyranitar. Shiny Larvitar, Shiny Pupitar and Shiny Tyranitar have also made their Pokémon GO debuts as well. Check below to find out when the event hours happened to fall in your region of the world.
- The Americas and Greenland: June 16, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT
- The Asia-Pacific region: June 16, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST
- Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa: June 16, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC
A brand-new Community Day Box was also made available to purchase via the in-game store for 480 PokéCoins. It includes six Lucky Eggs, four Premium Raid Passes, 20 Pinap Berries and 30 Ultra Balls. Niantic has confirmed that a number of users have been experiencing server issues, so the developer extended the event’s duration in the Asia-Pacific region by two hours. Niantic also wants to see your AR photos from Community Day, so be sure to share them via social media. Pokémon GO Community Day participants in Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo, Brazil, managed to collect one ton of dry goods for a local non-profit.
