How to get Blastoise with new exclusive move Hydro Cannon during Pokémon GO Community Day on July 8

As part of its extensive Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018Niantic has confirmed that the seventh Pokémon GO Community Day will take place on Sunday, July 8. It will feature increased spawns of Squirtle, quarter Egg hatch distance, three-hour Lures and the new exclusive move Hydro Cannon for Blastoise. Based on all previous Pokémon GO Community Days, Shiny Squirtle, Shiny Wartortle and Shiny Blastoise will make their Pokémon GO debuts on July 8 as well. In addition, you may have a chance to encounter Squirtle sporting sunglasses if you complete Field Research tasks during Community Day.   • The Americas and Greenland: July 8, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT
  • The Asia-Pacific region: July 8, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST
  • Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa: July 8, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC


Trainer, another classic Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region will be the star of July’s Pokémon GO Community Day! On Sunday, July 8, the Water-type Pokémon Squirtle will appear in the wild more frequently for three hours, and if you evolve a Wartortle into Blastoise during that three-hour window, it will learn the Water-type move Hydro Cannon.
