Although it’s not as popular as it was when it first launched in the summer of 2016, Pokémon GO is still incredibly successful today. Players worldwide are spending more thatn $2 million per day in the game, with an estimated $1.8 billion spent in the game’s lifetime of two years and counting. Intelligence firm Sensor Tower estimates that the United States is leading spending in the game at around $607 million total spent, with Japan following at $500 million. A total of 58 percent of all-time revenue for Pokémon Go has been on Google Play; the remainder is through the App Store.
