The latest set of Field Research tasks is now available in Pokémon GO, focusing on Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region. As you complete these tasks, you may be able to encounter Pokémon such as Pikachu, Ditto and Eevee. And, if you collect enough stamps to earn a Research Breakthrough, you’ll have an opportunity to catch an immense Snorlax that knows Body Slam, a unique move that Snorlax currently found in the wild can’t learn. Niantic has finally confirmed the Ditto-related bug that has been affecting players:
Trainers, it looks like Ditto is being a bit more elusive than we expected! We’ve found a bug that has delayed its arrival as a reward for completed July Field Research tasks. Stay tuned as we investigate this issue for further updates.
