Ever since Pokémon GO launched back in 2016, a number of fans have been complaining about the lack of things to do for rural players compared to those who live in the city, where a lot more in-game action is taking place on a regular basis. In many cases, not a single PokéStop or Pokémon GO Gym is in sight for rural players, as demonstrated in the embedded side-by-side video below:
