Community Day Shines Bright with Eevee. Search for Shiny Eevee during a two-day Community Day extravaganza!
One of the most popular Pokémon is featured in the newest Community Day—or perhaps we should say the newest Community Days! This month’s star is the Evolution Pokémon, Eevee, and Community Day is showing its own adaptability by expanding to include 3-hour periods on both Saturday, August 11, and Sunday, August 12! Eevee will appear in the wild much more frequently than normal during these periods, and you might encounter a Shiny Eevee for the first time.
If you weren’t already hyped, there’s more to be excited about during this back-to-back Community Day. Eevee caught during the event windows will know Last Resort, a move it cannot normally learn. And its Evolutions aren’t about be left out of the fun—any Eevee that evolves between the start of Saturday’s Community Day until the end of Sunday’s will know Last Resort in its evolved form. Eevee can evolve into five different Pokémon in Pokémon GO—and eight elsewhere in the world of Pokémon—so there’s plenty of reasons to use the extra time to catch lots of Eevee.
There’s more help coming if you’re looking to catch as many Eevee as possible. Lure Modules will last for three hours during Community Day, and each Eevee you catch will earn you triple the usual Stardust. This Community Day is a great way to stock up on Stardust along with rare Pokémon.
