The Pokémon Company has teamed up with the Kagawa prefecture for another collaboration featuring Slowpoke. August 10, 2018, has officially been named Slowpoke Day. As part of this initiative, from August 10 to August 12, a special Pokémon Center location will be available at the Kagawa prefecture, where fans will be able to take pictures alongside the official Slowpoke mascot and purchase a slew of merchandise inspired by Slowpoke. New products that will be on sale include Slowpoke-themed towels and T-shirts, which will be available for pre-order from August 10 at the Pokémon Center and Amazon Japan. The Pokémon Company has also unveiled a special music video dedicated to the iconic Dopey Pokémon.
