Nintendo applies for new GameCube controller and Super Smash Bros. Brawl trademarks

Nintendo Co., Ltd. has applied for two new Nintendo GameCube controller trademarks in Japan (both using the images pictured above) for a number of purposes including game controller and home video game machine. To view pictures of the actual applications, click here. Nintendo has also applied for a video game-related trademark in Japan for the Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
