Pokémon GO update 1.89.1 adds new Shiny Pokémon markers, PokéStop nomination and more

A brand-new update is now available to download for Pokémon GO across all Android devices, with iOS to follow in the very near future. The latest patch brings the immensely-popular mobile game to version 1.89.1, which consists of bug fixes and the recently-announced PokéStop nomination feature. The latest update also adds the ability to share EX Raid Passes and the option to remove Pokémon from your Favorites list in the Trade screen with Friends. In addition, after the update has been applied, a Shiny marker will appear alongside the respective Pokémon’s name and Combat Power (CP) when you encounter a Shiny Pokémon.
