Set to launch on September 18, Nintendo Switch Online allows members to gain access to online play and Save Data Cloud backup in compatible games, including Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee, Pokkén Tournament DX and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with added online play, special offers and a smartphone app with features to make online gaming sessions more engaging for supported games. To prepare for the imminent launch, the official Nintendo Switch Online app has been updated to version 1.4.0 across iOS and Android devices:
- More software added that supports voice chat.
- Various improvements implemented, including performance and usability improvements.
- Bug fixes implemented.
