Arata Iiyoshi, the composer of the first two Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, has revealed that he is planning to create an official original soundtrack (OST). A hardcore fan of the series emailed Iiyoshi regarding the topic and received the following response:
I’m planning to make “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Original Sound Track”. I made some music for “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon” definitely. But I can’t remake the music because of copyright. About this matter, I need to negotiate with the video game makers. I’m planning I use “crowdfunding” to solve this issue.
