The Mythical Pokémon Celebi has officially become available globally via Special Research in Pokémon GO as of August 20. You can gain XP by completing Special Research on the iconic Time Travel Pokémon at any time as long as you have done the third group of tasks related to the Special Research on Mew. For those who have already completed the exclusive Pokémon GO Fest Special Research and have obtained Celebi, completing this new Special Research will earn you a new bounty of Candy to power up your Celebi. Don’t forget that Niantic wants to see what progress you’ve made in your Special Research for Celebi. All eight Special Research tasks to find and catch Celebi are as follows:
