New Pokémon GO update 1.89.1 and 0.119.2 now live on iOS and Android, full patch notes revealed by Niantic

A brand-new update is now available to download for Pokémon GO across all iOS and Android devices. The latest patch brings the immensely-popular mobile game to version 1.89.1 and 0.119.2, respectively, which consists of bug fixes and the recently-announced PokéStop nomination feature. The latest update also adds the ability to share EX Raid Passes and the option to remove Pokémon from your Favorites list in the Trade screen with Friends. In addition, after the update has been applied, a Shiny marker will appear alongside the respective Pokémon’s name and Combat Power (CP) when you encounter a Shiny Pokémon. Official release notes from the development team at Niantic are as follows:

Version 1.89.1 (iOS)

– PokéStop nominations will be available to level 40 players in Brazil and South Korea
– You can now remove Pokémon from your Favorites while in the trade interface
– You can now share an Exclusive Raid Pass with one friend
– You can now swipe to dismiss in-app notifications
– Various bug fixes and performance updates

Version 0.119.2 (Android)

– PokéStop nominations will be available to level 40 players in Brazil and South Korea
– You can now remove Pokémon from your Favorites while in the trade interface
– You can now share an Exclusive Raid Pass with one friend
– You can now swipe to dismiss in-app notifications
– Various bug fixes and performance updates
