Nintendo Switch Parental Controls new update 1.7.0 now live on iOS and Android

The official Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app has been updated to version 1.7.0 across iOS and Android devices. Full patch notes from the development team at Nintendo are as follows:

・ If you’ve set up Parental Controls on a Nintendo Switch console, articles that appear in that console’s news feed will observe the Restricted Software setting located under Restriction Level in Console Settings.

・ Establishing a new Internet connection on a Nintendo Switch console with Parental Controls enabled no longer requires a PIN. A push notification will be sent to your smartphone when a new connection is established.

・ Feature improvements and bug fixes have been implemented.
