Several classic Pokémon games are celebrating a birthday today, September 28, 2018. Pokémon Red and Blue were released exactly 20 years ago and Pokémon Diamond and Pearl launched 12 years ago in the U.S. These games have a special place in my heart. I played Pokémon Red and Pokémon Pearl back in the day. The starter Pokémon I selected at the start of my adventures were Squirtle and Piplup, respectively.
