The Pokémon Company recently announced plans to move the major Pokémon Center location in Yokohama to Marine City, also located in Yokohama, on November 9, 2018. The updated store will be significantly larger than the original and will house a more modern ocean-style theme. The current location, which can be found at Landmark Plaza, will officially close its doors on October 28, 2018. From September 3 until closing day, The Pokémon Company will host a special thank-you campaign for fans.
