To celebrate the launch of the Pokémon TCG: Dragon Majesty expansion, The Pokémon Company has kicked off a special distribution event in the U.S. featuring Shiny Poipole for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Codes to unlock this rare Pokémon were available at participating GameStop stores throughout the country from September 17 to October 7, 2018. The same distribution is now available in the UK at Smyths Toys until October 15, and via the September edition of the Pokémon Trainer Club Newsletter for the remainder of Europe. In Chile, fans were able to grab distribution codes at WePlay stores until October 7. The Shiny Poipole on offer is a level-40 Pokémon with the moves Dragon Pulse, Nasty Plot, Poison Jab and Venom Drench.

Use these steps, along with your code, to get Shiny Poipole.
- Open your Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
- Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
- Select Receive Gift.
- Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
- Enter your code.
- Watch as Shiny Poipole arrives in your game.
- Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Shiny Poipole.
- Be sure to save your game!
