Game Freak director Junichi Masuda has revealed that Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee feature post-game content in the form of a new mode called Master Trainers. In this mode, players will be tasked with taking down a total of 151 Master Trainers, each of whom is accompanied by a powerful version of one of the original 151 Pokémon.
“A good portion of the more difficult stuff is in the post-game,” Masuda explains. “There’s ways to strengthen your Pokémon, and the reason you wanna do that is, you take on these master trainers, these really powerful trainers that you encounter after the main story.”
