Nintendo’s latest quarterly earnings report has been released, showing us software and hardware sales in the months July, August and September. In these months, Nintendo sold roughly 3 million Nintendo Switch’s, putting lifetime sales at 22.86 million after just 18 months.
In comparison, the Wii U sold just 13.56 million and the GameCube sold 21.74 million in their entire life spans, showing just how well the Switch is doing for Nintendo.
