Moltres is mistakenly a Research Breakthrough reward for November Field Research in Pokémon GO

All-new Field Research is now available in Pokémon GO. Players who make a Research Breakthrough during November will encounter Shedinja, a Pokémon that’s never been available in Pokémon GO before. Several of Bug-type Pokémon are also being featured in November’s Field Research tasks, including Caterpie. Shiny Caterpie, Shiny Metapod and Shiny Butterfree have also made their Pokémon GO debuts. To make a Research Breakthrough, you’ll need to collect seven stamps by completing Field Research tasks, and you can only earn one stamp each day. You won’t find Shedinja roaming around anywhere in the wild, so don’t miss the chance to add it to your collection. For some reason, Moltres is being featured as the Research Breakthrough reward for some players. Niantic has yet to address this issue, but stay tuned for any updates.

  1. It’s time sensitive, I had my week complete minus a day with a completed field research in the pocket waiting to claim. For me in Alberta it’s was three o clock, others in my group tried half hour earlier and got moltres.
