Niantic recently held the latest Pokémon GO Safari Zone event, which officially took place from November 1 to November 5 in Tainan, Taiwan, at the Tainan Metropolitan Park and the Chimei Museum. Throughout the city of Tainan, Trainers were able to find rare Pokémon not normally seen in Taiwan, such as Relicanth, Unown, Anorith, Bagon, Swablu, Pinsir and more. Shiny Pinsir has also made its Pokémon GO debut. This was a free event to be enjoyed by all Trainers. As such, it was a huge success. More than one million people visited the area of Tainan during the Safari Zone, including tourists who made their very first trip to the city. This was greater than the expectations of the Taiwanese government.
