New Pokémon GO update version 1.97.2 and 0.129.2 now live on iOS and Android

Another day, another Pokémon GO update! The immensely-popular mobile game has been updated to version 1.97.2 and 0.129.2 across all capable iOS and Android devices, respectively. According to official release notes from the development team at Niantic, the latest patch implements a number of bug fixes to address existing issues that players have been encountering. As per usual, the latest update must be installed in order to continue playing.
