The Pokémon Company has teamed up with the Tottori Prefecture in Japan for a massive campaign featuring the Mouse Pokémon Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew as chief ambassadors of the iconic region. This campaign is currently underway and is set to run until January 14, 2019. To coincide with the campaign, Shiny Sandshrew and Shiny Sandslash have made their Pokémon GO debuts. Fans can also find increased spawns of both Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew in the wild until January 19, 2019. Attendees also have a chance to earn exclusive prizes, participate in a variety of Pokémon-themed activities and take photos alongside the official mascot versions of the featured Pokémon.
