It’s no surprise that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been selling extremely well right out of the gate. Famitsu is reporting that the highly-anticipated fighting title opened at 1,238,358 copies. Digital sales are not included, but units from physical download cards are. The game is already the fastest-selling Super Smash Bros. game and the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch game. Naturally, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate gave a major boost to Nintendo Switch hardware sales last week. Famitsu reports that the system moved 278,313 units. Super Smash Bros.
