The world of Pokémon is expanding next summer with the theatrical release of the first live-action Pokémon movie, POKÉMON Detective Pikachu. The first teaser trailer gave fans an early glimpse of the eagerly anticipated film, showing how humans and Pokémon interact in Ryme City and offering the first opportunity to hear Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Detective Pikachu. Also starring Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton, POKÉMON Detective Pikachu promises to deliver a big-screen Pokémon adventure unlike any we’ve seen before. It is slated to hit theaters on May 11, 2019. Fans will have the option to watch it in RealD 3D in theaters across the globe. The excitement for Detective Pikachu is building after the actor gifted fans with a sneak peek at the making of the highly-anticipated film.
