Niantic has announced a Friendship Weekend event for Pokémon GO, set to kick off tomorrow, February 8, across the globe. During the event, friendship levels will be able to increase at a greater speed than normal. and more special trade rewards will be available between friends. Friendship levels can be leveled up twice as fast than normal and all trades between friends require half the amount of Stardust. Trades also award double Candy between recipients. Friendship Weekend will take place from February 8 at 1 p.m. PST to February 11 at 1 p.m. PT.
