Nintendo Switch ships 32.27 million units in 22 months thanks to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee

The Nintendo Switch has managed to ship 32.27 million units of hardware in 22 months of being on the market. This impressive figure was achieved thanks to ultra-popular titles such as Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go Eevee and of course Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The following information comes from video games analyst Daniel Ahmad:

2. PS3 released one year after Xbox 360 when 360 already had a 10m or so headstart. So PS3 was always behind in a sense because it never made up that gap. The chart above is launch aligned so shows both launching at the same time.
