Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble revealed as new starter Pokémon for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield during Pokémon Direct

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are broadcasting a new Pokémon Direct on February 27 at 6 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. GMT. The presentation includes seven minutes of new information in a livestreamed broadcast for the millions of Pokémon fans across the globe. According to The Pokémon Company, the Direct is revealing “big news” and surprising announcements. Most fans are expecting to see the long-awaited full Pokémon Gen 8 game for Nintendo Switch. In addition, new starter Pokémon and a brand-new region are also expected to be revealed for the unannounced game.
