Pokémon GO Field Research tasks for May and June 2019 feature Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latias and Latios as new Research Breakthrough rewards

Pokémon GO Research Updates for May and June. Look for the chance to catch Pokémon from two Legendary duos and hatch more Pokémon from the Sinnoh region in the coming months.

More Field Research tasks are heading to Pokémon GO in May and June. These new tasks will start appearing on May 1 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. If you complete enough research tasks for a Research Breakthrough, you’ll have the chance to catch a Pokémon from two Legendary Pokémon duos—Lugia and Ho-Oh, and Latias and Latios!

You’ll also start to see a number of different Pokémon hatching from Eggs starting April 26 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. You can expect the following Pokémon in 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs.

  • Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Bonsly, and more may hatch from 2 km Eggs.
  • Cubone, Combee, Buizel, Glameow, Bronzor, Skorupi, Croagunk, and more may hatch from 5 km Eggs.
  • Mawile, Absol, Shinx, Cranidos, Shieldon, Riolu, and more may hatch from 10 km Eggs.

Have fun tracking down four amazing Legendary Pokémon, and look forward to hatching Pokémon Eggs in May and June.
