The Pokémon Company recently shared pictures of the yellow carpet from the World Premiere of POKÉMON Detective Pikachu, which officially took place earlier this week in Tokyo, Japan. The highly-anticipated film is set to open for the public via theaters throughout Japan on May 3, 2019, which is one week from its premiere in the U.S. and Europe on May 10. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular hero himself, with Justice Smith playing a leading role as Tim Goodman and Kathryn Newton as Lucy Stevens.
