Legendary Entertainment has already begun working on a direct sequel to POKÉMON Detective Pikachu, with Oren Uziel on board to pen the script. The upcoming movie is said to be in the early stages of development and will be followed by a “more diverse world of Pokémon movies.” Read on below for a longer quote regarding this:
Legendary did not respond to ComicBook.com’s request for comment. Multiple sources involved with the production informed ComicBook.com that the studio is moving forward with the Pokémon: Detective Pikachu sequel before ultimately expanding into a more diverse world of Pokémon movies.
