The last opportunity to earn big Championship Points toward qualification for the 2019 Pokémon World Championships is on the line as players compete in the season’s final International Championships in Columbus, Ohio, from Friday, June 21, through Sunday, June 23, 2019. A special distribution event will take place for all attendees who own a copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon. An East Sea Gastrodon akin to the one used by the 2018 VG World Champion, Paul Ruiz, will be distributed via the Mystery Gift feature at the event. This Gastrodon is a level-50 Pokémon with the Modest nature, Storm Drain ability and the moves Recover, Ice Beam, Protect and Earth Power.
You can watch all the action from home even if you can’t make it to historic Columbus, as we’ll be broadcasting matches from each round of the 2019 Pokémon North America International Championships. Matches from the Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon Video Game Championships (VGC) will be on display all weekend long starting Friday morning, and Pokkén Tournament DX will join the fray for the competition’s final two days.
